However, I just use it to straighten, because it is a 1 1/2 inch iron. I also have a 2 inch Chi Turbo which stopped working well after about 3 months of use. That definitely put me off Chi straighteners. I used to have an FHI (found on folica) which I used to add texture to my hair, but it wasn't so great for straightening. I would reccomend a 1 inch Sedu over the other ones you have listed. Yes, it is more expensive, but from my experience it should be worth it.

love the blog by the way!Emmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07597992143753889362noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9149942480221810523.post-68042251588514157552008-11-28T17:10:00.000-05:002008-11-28T17:10:00.000-05:00Use Mixed Chicks deep conditioner before you iron ...Use Mixed Chicks deep conditioner before you iron it. It will protect, and shine, and help the process. If you have any kind of curl when your hair is wet, you can use their leave-in conditioner on clean wet hair and air dry. Good luck. www.mixedchicks.netAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9149942480221810523.post-15422906144687032152008-11-24T16:33:00.000-05:002008-11-24T16:33:00.000-05:00inspired by your post to finally purchase one, i j...inspired by your post to finally purchase one, i just went to target and got this: http://www.target.com/Remington-Tourmaline-Titanium-Ceramic-Straightener/dp/B001DEYOD6/ref=sc_ri_1?ie=UTF8&pf_rd_r=01M1JC8BTP1VGDBDC2A8&pf_rd_p=451839801&pf_rd_i=B00160U15W&pf_rd_s=bottom-10&pf_rd_m=A1VC38T7YXB528&pf_rd_t=201

it works great!! and was a lot less that the ones you looked at. Personally, I don't see the reason in spending over $100 on a curling iron when one for 40 does the same things.Tu-Anhhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15649644830277993373noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9149942480221810523.post-28296337212658946672008-11-21T13:12:00.000-05:002008-11-21T13:12:00.000-05:00I have a SEDU..and I love it..I've had it for 4 ye...I have a SEDU..and I love it..I've had it for 4 years..the plate never scratches, the cord is in perfect condition still..I've used CHI's before but the SEDU feels smoother on my hair and doesnt feel like its ripping or anything..it's totally worth it!Lindsayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11943164241500064621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9149942480221810523.post-49851480483217571372008-11-18T01:45:00.000-05:002008-11-18T01:45:00.000-05:00I'm lucky bc my hair is pretty straight, but I'm u...I'm lucky bc my hair is pretty straight, but I'm unlucky because it doesn't curl =( Good luck in your search!

Thanks for visiting my blog =)Leeann @ Join the Gossiphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09003557241706804723noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9149942480221810523.post-32513135348331074052008-11-17T15:04:00.000-05:002008-11-17T15:04:00.000-05:00I love "CHI", it is very good, recommended to me b...I love "CHI", it is very good, recommended to me by my hair stlist.

thanks for the sweet comment and stopping by my blog!
xoxoJadore-Fashionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18091728869171792009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9149942480221810523.post-75813104276952977492008-11-16T23:01:00.000-05:002008-11-16T23:01:00.000-05:00im starting to look into hair straighteners too be...im starting to look into hair straighteners too because my hair is flat and limp like a baby's.
